A CONTINUING LEGACY

SCOTT'S STORY

When my husband, Scott, was diagnosed with salivary gland cancer in April 2020, we never imagined the journey that lay ahead. Despite metastasis to his lungs and brain, our struggles ran the gamut from financial to day-to-day tasks and ultimately managing our grief in our loss when cancer took him from us way too soon.

Throughout our journey, we were fortunate to have the support of our community and friends. It was through this support that the Bailey Brigade was born with the mission of providing financial and tangible support to families in need who may not have the same support system.

Scott died in December of 2021, but his memory and legacy will live on through the work of the Bailey Brigade. We want to pay forward the kindness and love shown to our family and ensure no one going through a similar journey has to do so alone.

We want to provide financial assistance for copays and other expenses, as well as tangible support such as care packages, and the knowledge they are being prayed for and supported by many, even if they aren't physically surrounded by loved ones during treatment. We are grateful for the support of our donors and sponsors in this mission, and we hope to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
